We lay to rest, Julio Nestor Alzu. A gentle soul who had an impact on many lives. He was a restaurant owner for over 20 years, a father to five children, and a dear friend. Born in La Plata, Argentina, Julio immigrated to Canada in search of a better life. After living in several provinces, Julio settled in Victoria, BC, where he fell in love with the community. Whether it was helping a friend or a family member, Julio was there. He will be remembered for his love of literature, music, and animals. He joins his beloved dogs, Cassie and Maizie in the hereafter, likely going for walks as they often did. Julio was known for his kindness and the warmth he brought to those around him. He will be missed by his brother Daniel and sister Gloria. He leaves behind Rose, Brian, Rory, Scott, Alex, Lucas, Amanda, Lainey & David. He will never be forgotten, may he sleep in Peace.
