LINFORD, Margaret Elizabeth Ann (Mellings)

LINFORD, Margaret Elizabeth Ann (nee Mellings) ‘A Life Well Lived’ In her ninety-second year, while enjoying a rye & ginger and playing a game of cards with her son, Peggy Linford left us. Peggy was loved as a wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She was pre-deceased by her loving husband and dance partner, Lindy, and her oldest son, William. She leaves behind her daughters Marie and Sue (Al), her sons Terry (Kathleen) and Gary (Carol), and her younger sister Dode. Her five grandchildren, Clayton, Kambra (Carden), Josh, Nathan, and Spike knew her as “Nan”, and the huge affection, loyalty, and respect they held for their Nan is a testament to her generous character, lively spirit, and tender love. On the occasion of her ninetieth birthday Kambra and Carden introduced her to her first great-grandchild, Tyson. Mom was a vibrant, charming, kind and loving woman. While she did not always have an easy life, she was the first to say she lived a charmed one. We are heartbroken at her departure, but when reflecting on her story we see a life well lived. One can ask for no more.
